Each episode, collectively known as the "Treehouse of Horror" specials, consists of several characters. A collection of hilarious short films inspired by Halloween. These are stories in which the residents of Springfield interact with supernatural beings or find themselves in other horrific situations. Of course all of these specials are great to watch but season six's "Treehouse of Horror" tends to be a fan favorite.
