The most important thing is, first of all, the openness of these algorithms that we have in the first place, so that we can create a certain degree of transparency and know what is in them.
I don't think anyone would just swallow a pill if they didn't know that someone had at least a rough idea of how it works. Nobody would get on a plane if they didn't know that whoever built it would have to reveal why the thing would stay in the sky.
