Step 4: Write a persona story

Focus on the motives behind the behavior
It is not important what your persona does, but why they do it. When you develop the questions about the persona and then map the persona, look closely: why does a persona use a specific tool, why do they look for a specific solution and why do they want to achieve certain goals. Always ask why !
The trick: fictional yet realistic
Don't just describe one real person, but try to summarize as many of the answers you received from your survey or interviews as possible into a tendency. Personas are semi-fictional, so to speak . They are specific, but they still describe more than just one or two concrete people who fall under that persona .
If possible, put a face to yourself, such as a picture. However, do not use the picture of a real customer.

Choose a persona #1 and concentrate on developing this persona. This focuses your approach and stops the risk of getting bogged down. Other personas can be developed afterwards or during the ongoing inbound marketing process.
