Franziska Roth and Media Democracy

Post by asimd23 »

A men's party apologizes for nominating a female party colleague. The Swiss SVP said that its once celebrated government councilor Franziska Roth was "hopeless." Two years in office and the party only realized afterwards that the executive politician lacked "will, interest and talent."

Pretty weird, isn't it?

The SVP and its government officials like to hit poland rcs data below the belt: especially against the so-called "friends." The "joy reigns" brilliant Federal Councilor Adolf Ogi was treated so roughly by the SVP that he has long since distanced himself from the party. The party leaders even insulted Federal Councilor Samuel Schmid as "half a Federal Councilor." And the deserving SVP party politician Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf mutated into a vile traitor after her election to the Federal Council and was immediately expelled from the SVP.

Blind obedience is always an important characteristic of strongly ideologically motivated parties.

This applies not only to the SVP, but also to the SP. Both parties are characterized internally by spectacular battles and personal settling of scores. Journalists' short-term memories suppress such stories far too often: internal party bullying campaigns offer great material à Shakespeare - you just have to really want to research it.
