If you have an image sequence that produces motion, open Photoshop and go to File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack.

Click Browse … and find the video or photos you want to use. Select all the files and click Open .

Click OK to import the photos into a single file. Note that the time it takes to open the files office 365 data may be longer, as Photoshop will create a Layer for each image.

These layers will become the frames of your GIF.





If you have a video that you want to convert to a GIF, you'll need to convert the video frames to individual layers. Open Photoshop and go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers...

Find and select the video file and click Open .

Click OK to convert the frames into a single layered file.


In newer versions of Photoshop you can limit the video upload, speeding up the import process. In the import window options you can limit the number of frames to be inserted.

You can import the entire video or select only a portion of it. You can also limit the frame range.
