Power consumption
To check the router's power consumption, I connected a smart relay and used their dedicated app to see real-time status data. And that's what it needs most of the time, not when it's at peak load.

After the eye-pleasing layout of the ExpertWiFi EBR63, I realized that the layout of ASUS routers definitely needs an update, but we still get everything we need in the same place we are used to. So, on the left, there guatemala telegram data are the General settings, where you can check the AiProtection section, created and maintained by a third party, TrendMicro, but which is still included in the price of the router.
Then there’s Parental Controls, which also runs on TrendMicro and collects some data. We can add devices, block certain categories, and schedule internet access, a feature that, again, is usually locked behind a subscription. QoS will let you prioritize which types of apps get the most bandwidth, and there’s also Traffic Analyzer by Apps and Devices.

Some of the usual gaming features are missing, so I guess the RT-AXE7800 is not part of the gaming series. In any case, we get Advanced Settings, where you can dive quite deep into configuration and management, especially for wireless settings.
Some of these features have been covered before, such as dual-WAN and LACP aggregation, but I should also mention the VPN support, which covers PPTP, OpenVPN, IPSec, and WireGuard. Of course, VPN Fusion and Instant Guard are still present.
