Finally, in the context of distrust towards the media that we know, stories can help to strengthen proximity with the public. Although they seem to be a very interesting tool to explain and highlight the process of information production, this use is still under-exploited.

In Rouen, on January 12, two LCI journalists, accompanied by security agents, were violently attacked . Elsewhere, cars and press offices have been targeted. A situation denounced by around thirty journalists' societies in a joint column , as well as in a petition , initiated by Reporters Without Borders.
To understand the nature of this worrying phenomenon and to avoid any form of confusion, it seems necessary to make a distinction between the violence against journalists on the one hand and the distrust of the media on the other . A point of view that allows us to differentiate between a minority of radical, violent and ideologically motivated demonstrators and an old and deep movement of questioning the word of the so-called "traditional" media.
