Which professions are more suitable for being digital nomads?

Post by hasan018542 »

Since 2021, I have started working in a team related to the Web3 industry as a product manager. The team did not implement remote work because of the severe epidemic situation at the time. The main reasons include office cost considerations and factors such as the team coming from different time zones such as the United States and Asia-Pacific.

So from then on, I became a remote worker in the software industry. Some of my colleagues have never seen each other in person or even on video. The way of communication is to document and archive everything as much as possible.

Regarding the nomadic experience, from 2021 to the argentina mobile database first half of 2022, when traveling abroad was more troublesome, I would travel to various places in Taiwan for work. The place I visited most often was Yilan, and I have also been to Xiaoliuqiu, Kenting, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Nantou Cingjing Farm, etc.

Anyway, just take your laptop with you and work in a more leisurely environment without the atmosphere of urban high-rise buildings. I would go for an outing in the morning to see the local scenery, sit down to work in a cafe or youth hostel before noon, and then go out for a walk or visit the local market or night market in the evening to end my ordinary but somewhat fresh day.

Since October 2022, I started to try living abroad, and went to Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭, Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷, Portugal 🇵🇹 (Lisbon/Sintra/Ericeira), South Korea 🇰🇷 (Jeju Island/Busan/Daegu), Indonesia 🇮🇩 (Bali), Malaysia 🇲🇾 (Kuala Lumpur), Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 (Colombo/Galeb/Kandy...), etc., for a total of four months of nomadic time in various places. The model is actually very similar to when I was working remotely in Taiwan before. The difference is that you will have more opportunities to meet people from all over the world and experience some very different local cultures and lifestyle characteristics.
