Fuel excise taxes. Due to changes in energy policy and trends in international markets, excise taxes on petroleum products may be increased. This will lead to higher prices for gasoline and diesel fuel.
Excise taxes on alcohol and tobacco. The authorities regularly review excise tax rates on alcohol and tobacco products in order to reduce consumption of these goods and increase tax revenues. Property taxes
Changes in property taxation in Russia are planned from 2025. One of the most important innovations will be an increase in tax rates on land plots for individual construction and entrepreneurial activity. Previously, such plots were taxed at a maximum rate of 0.3%, but from 2025 this rate will be revised.
The amount of state fees for real estate transactions will also change. In particular, fees for registering property rights to land plots and real estate, as well as for cadastral registration, will be increased. For example, the fee for registering property rights to a plot for individual housing construction will be 700 rubles, and for rights to constructed real estate objects - 2,000 rubles.
The notification form was approved by order of the Federal Tax Service of Russia dated August 16, 2023 No. ED-7-21/546.
Simplified Tax System
From 2025, changes to the simplified taxation system (STS) will come into force in Russia. Here are the main nuances:
Income limits : The limit of 200 million rubles for organizations and 60 million rubles for individual entrepreneurs remains for the application of the simplified tax system in 2025. This means that if a company's income exceeds these values, it will not be able to use the simplified tax system.
Tax rates : Standard tax rates will remain the same - 6% for the "Income" system and 15% for "Income minus expenses". However, for large companies whose income exceeds 150 million rubles or which have more than 100 employees, the rate may increase to 20%.
Minimum Tax : Even if the calculated tax is less than 1% of income, companies will still be required to pay a minimum of 1% of their revenue to avoid manipulation of the tax base.
