In the village of Ivanovka in the Ivanovo municipal district, the hardware and software complex "Safe City" has started working. The project was implemented by Rostelecom together with the administration of the settlement .

We have been cooperating with Amur municipalities on this project for several years now, we know how to implement digital technologies taking into account the existing infrastructure. Today, more than 100 of our cameras monitor safety on the streets of six cities and villages," said Valentina Rud, Director of Work with Corporate and Government Segments of the Amur Branch of PJSC Rostelecom.

New video cameras in Ivanovka are installed in the most important and busy places: on the central streets, in the amusement park, near shops, schools, museums, the House of Culture, as well as at the entrance and exit of the village. The broadcast is conducted in real time in high quality, which allows special services to examine such details as human facial features, car numbers. Filming is carried out even in bad weather and at low temperatures. Video recordings are stored in the Rostelecom data processing center.

"Over 6.5 thousand people currently live in Ivanovka, the largest agricultural enterprise in the region operates, and tourism is actively developing. Of course, the issue of safety for every resident and guest of the village is relevant. Where it is comfortable and calm, you want to live, work and raise children. Rostelecom's digital technologies, resources and competencies helped us implement the Safe City project and deploy a modern video surveillance system in a short time. The provider fulfilled all of its contractual obligations," said Valentina Olshevskaya, head of the Ivanovo Municipal District.

With the help of the hardware and software complex "Safe City", law enforcement officers can promptly identify, prevent and suppress violations, reconstruct the course of events based on recorded video materials, prevent accidents and road accidents, and promptly inform special services.

Rostelecom cameras under the Safe City project operate in Tynda, Zeya, Belogorsk, Svobodny, Tsiolkovsky. Recently, the same system was launched in Magdagachi.
