The official resumption of sales of Samsung equipment in Russia is being delayed indefinitely, two sources in the manufacturer's partner companies told Izvestia.

The corporation confirmed that the decision on this has not yet been made. Earlier, the publication's interlocutors did not rule out that this would happen in October. In the meantime, the South Korean manufacturer is not closing its Moscow office and is even recruiting employees in the Russian Federation. Another Izvestia source close to the company, in early September, cited the fact that the company updated its Russian website as a reason for talking about Samsung's return - it presented new clamshell smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 on it.

But in October, Samsung did not officially return to the shelves. A source familiar with the managers of the Russian office of the company claimed that the plans were adjusted due to partial mobilization in the Russian Federation. According to him, the company perceived what was happening as an additional political risk. The source did not rule out that official deliveries of Samsung electronics could resume in November. But, as market participants interviewed by Izvestia say, by November 22 the situation remained the same and nothing indicates that it will change before the end of this month.
