On the path to innovation
As if that were not enough, the Equity Investment Fund (FIP), a branch of Funses led by the Espírito Santo Development Bank (Bandes), has emerged as the largest venture capital fund in the country. At this initial stage, the FIP is providing a total of R$250 million and may reach up to R$500 million in resources.
With this new development, the State Government intends to attract new businesses. Capital will be allocated to companies that have projects invested in the State or throughout the national territory, as long as they have a tax headquarters here.
The FIP will focus on businesses, up to medium-sized, with main activity focused on innovation or improvement of the productive/social environment, in different sectors, such as:
Information and Communication Technology;
Nanotechnology;
Retail and E-Commerce;
Creative Economy;
Financial Services;
Digital Economy;
Environment;
Agribusiness;

Profitable investment
And it doesn't stop there: the company Cacau Show will expand its chocolate production in Brazil, with operations expected to begin in January 2022.
The investment, of R$100 million, will be for the installation of its second factory, located in the Linhares region, in the North of the State of Espírito Santo.
The group is in the process of joining the Espírito Santo Investment Incentive Program (Invest – ES). Based on the incentive, the expected investment is approximately R$67 million.
According to the mayor of Linhares, Guerino Zanon (MDB), “Linhares is contributing to the generation of jobs and income for the people of Espírito Santo, attracting industries that add value to the products harvested by farmers in the state itself. The companies are industrializing the products cultivated and no longer considering them as commodities.”
