Hoffmann: That is often a fear among company managements, that they say: "Yes, if we give employees free rein and they can write or say whatever they want on social networks without any control, then criticism could come." Has that ever happened or do you have to deal with criticism or are there critical points? How do you handle that?

Lenitzki: Well, there are definitely critical points. We also have contributions in the Culture Book where someone or several people express criticism of certain areas. But that's just the way it is. We always try to respond directly if the employees have their name in there. They can also do it anonymously. Then the manager would of course speak to the person. Apart from that, we also have a regular feedback culture that is established here. That means we don't wait until the next Culture Book to get feedback from our employees.

In addition to regular feedback discussions, we also regularly conduct employee surveys, where everyone can freely express their opinions on various areas and we then evaluate them afterwards. And criticism is forex data very important to us because it is the only way we can move forward as a company. We learn from it together. For example, on kununu, there is sometimes feedback that an employer doesn't like 100 percent. But we also comment from our point of view, comment on it if we feel that something is not presented correctly. So that it can be put right a little. But we always write at the bottom: "Hey, if you still work at fme, please talk to your manager or come to our HR team so that we can solve the problem."

Hoffmann: That also shows that encouraging employees to show themselves or say something goes way, way beyond marketing or PR. But of course it also plays a role in the media and social media. Do you have social media guidelines?
Lenitzki: Yes, we have social media guidelines. We also point out our ... Smarp is the name of the tool we use, so that employees can share company content on their own networks. We point this out during onboarding. And anyone who takes part in this program has the opportunity to watch an online tutorial that we recorded together with the manufacturer, where we share some best practices and say: What works well? What should you perhaps pay attention to?
