Harry Dry runs this little project and shows the popup above on exit intent. He has social proof (9691 marketers), helpful tips, 2 minutes to read (low barrier), and is honest because he says less than 0.4% of people unsubscribe and it's free.
This type of text with a great offer will always work. If you are looking for a simplified design example for inspiration, this option will suit you best.
Finally, it doesn't say "sign me up" but rather "upgrade my marketing" which actually provides a valuable call to action.
Great job, Harry!
Editor's Note:
Another very simplified example of a popup design I get is inspired by Ahrefs.

Ahrefs suggests that a blog visitor cannot be put rcs data taiwan into a funnel, and therefore it is better to constantly feed the visitor with new content. This content is similar to a sales page, so the reader/visitor will eventually convert.
So the simplified mascot popup above is doing a great job of converting. According to Ahrefs, it accounts for over 0.5% of conversions out of 250,000 monthly visitors. Well, it works then.
The last example of a simplified popup design comes from the growth hackers who I follow. They are a group of guys who teach growth marketing and their popup is simple but effective for students like me. It is simply stunning and has lots of social proof.
