In today’s always-on, always-connected economy, companies are under pressure to strengthen their cybersecurity strategy and demonstrate to customers that data protection is critical to their engagement strategy. Regardless of industry or size, cyber-attacks continually expose businesses and governments to data compromise, lost revenue due to downtime, reputational damage, and significant compliance fines. To reduce business risks from cyber-attacks, businesses and governments must adopt a more cyber-resilient approach to data protection, modernize and automate their recovery and business continuity strategies, and leverage the latest intelligence to detect and protect against cyber threats. Reacting to a cyber-attack in real time is too late. Risk management requires greater agility, careful alignment across the business, and testing of defenses to maintain awareness. And it’s proactive, rather than reactive.
