Meta launched Bulletin in June 2021 amid a boom in newsletter subscription services. It is a platform for freelance writers that includes subscriptions and various tools for creating text or audio content that is distributed in the Facebook news feed.
At its launch, the company announced in a statement that the platform's goal was to provide creators with support focused on content creation, but also on monetization features and audience growth.
Initially, it was only available to journalists and well japan mobile database -known figures such as Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Malcolm Gladwell and Tan France. Some of the celebrities are estimated to have six-figure contracts and were due to create content on the platform until 2024.

A few months ago, the company had already begun shifting engineering and support from products like Facebook News and Bulletin to work on core Meta products.
