Create a Windows Security Shortcut on the Windows 10 Desktop

In Windows 11, it’s just as easy to create a Windows Security shortcut on your desktop using the Start menu . Find the Windows Security shortcut in the All apps list , click or press and hold it, and then move your mouse or finger outside the Start menu to anywhere on your desktop. When you see the Link text next to the shortcut, release the mouse or lift your finger, and the shortcut will be created.

5. How to open Windows Security using a keyboard shortcut
If you created a Windows Security shortcut on your desktop by dragging it from the Start menu as shown in Method 4 of this guide, you can edit the shortcut's properties to open the app with a keyboard shortcut. Once you've created the desktop shortcut, right-click it or press and hold and select Properties .
