Content is not just the text on a website that a visitor can read, but also videos and images. However, content alone is no guarantee for a good ranking. Above all, it is important that you focus on quality content.
The days when you could achieve good rankings mom database with content that was stuffed with keywords are long gone. In addition, good content quickly becomes a self-runner in terms of off-page optimization. It is not uncommon for content worth reading to be linked to from other websites and distributed via LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Meta Tags
The so-called meta tags, i.e. information in the file header of each page, are used by search engines to catalog and classify a website or subpage. While meta keywords are no longer taken into account by Google and are almost considered negative SEO, the meta description and meta title still have a right to exist and should not be missing from any page.
In the example below, this would be "When is great content actually really great? - Blog". The meta description briefly describes the content that the reader can expect on the page in around 150 characters. In the example, this would be "What is really good content and what do I need for a content marketing strategy?".
The meta title essentially creates the headline of the indexed page or article in Google.
