Here in the West, we're still in the Jurassic period for bots. What they can be used for is really only limited by our imagination.

One of my most recent favorites is an innovation from the BBC News Labs and Visual Journalism teams , which has launched a bot builder app that, according to Nieman Lab, “makes it as easy as possible for reporters to create chatbots and incorporate them into their stories.”
