Explain the promises on the landing page
If you promise a discount coupon to those who fill out band data the form, don't leave out the details:
explain how they will receive it
How can they use it?
and the possible expiry date.
Try to be as transparent as possible and not leave any unknowns hanging that could stop the user from taking action.
