Buoyed by the growth in mobile usage and the appeal of video, Studio+ and Blackpills were launched two years ago. The concept? Offering fiction in vertical format to a target audience that is abandoning traditional television for streaming services. While Blackpills has just partnered with Orange , Studio+ ceased its activity last fall. How can we explain these different trajectories? Can we expect to see other offers of this type flourish or is this already the end of premium mobile video?
