Definition and challenge of structured data
Structured data is code tags added to a website's content to help search engines better understand the page's content. It can help improve SEO by allowing search engines to better understand the context of the content and present it more effectively in search results. It also improves the appearance of your featured snippet in search results pages (SERPs), helping you stand out from the competition.
The different types of structured data
I will quote here the two mainly used in SEO:
Schema.org Tags: This is a vocabulary of standardized structured data markup that can be used to mark up different types of content, such as events, reviews, products, recipes, and more.
Open Graph: This is a structured data markup pakistan mobile database used to describe the content of a page for social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
A concrete example of the integration of the structured data "ProfessionalService" from the home page of my site.
We will find many elements that can be proposed to Google and at the same time displayed:
the company logo
the name of the company
the website URL
a phone number
a postal address
GPS location coordinates
opening days and hours
As you can see, this data is integrated into the HTML code of the page in question (HEAD section) following a very specific format. Google will assess whether it is relevant or not to display it.
