How to read the score
PageSpeed Insights scores are rated out of 100. Within this 100, sites are classified into Low, Medium, and Good depending on the score, so you can get an idea of how good or bad the site's speed is. The range of each score is as follows:
Good (80 points or more) There is little room for optimization
Medium (60-79 points) There is still some room for optimization
Low (0-59 points) Not optimized and has many areas to improve
The score you want to aim for
When using PageSpeed Insights, you should aim for a score of 50 or more for PC sites and 40 or so for mobile sites. This is because the scores are measured overseas, so Japanese sites tend to get low scores. In fact, it is not uncommon for even major sites to get low scores.
