Maria Petrova, Head of Training and Certification Programs at Bazalt SPO LLC, named the adaptation of training programs for each specific customer as one of the main tasks. They, as she stated, will be built on a modular principle and cover different levels, from basic, aimed at the mass user, to highly specialized programs for professionals. According to Maria Petrova, by the end of 2023, more than 3.5 thousand people had undergone training in working with products from Bazalt SPO, of which more than 50 were teachers from various training centers and educational institutions.

"Our customers undergo training regularly. Not everyone is interested in certification (testing), but it is important for everyone to take a training course. It is impossible to work with a product without understanding its functional features," says Daria Tulinova, Director of the Partner Relations Department at NTC IT ROSA.

"We initially chose the path of interaction with educational institutions. For example, a year ago we developed a joint course with the Siberian Federal University in the format of a continuing education program. Moreover, the course turned out to be quite academic: it covers both the classic, basic aspects of Linux, and the differences between the Atlant OS and all the others. The 72-hour capacity allowed us to fill it well. And in our opinion, such fundamental courses should not be updated too often, - said Sergey Terskikh, CEO of Applite Group. - In addition, at the beginning of 2024, we opened up to a certain extent for interaction with universities and colleges. We announced the start of an academic program, free of charge transferring licenses for scientific and educational purposes. And we are not talking about some temporary licenses or versions with cut functionality - this is exactly the same corporate-class software. This spurred interest in our solution, and we are helping several more educational institutions prepare curricula for the new academic year."

Maria Petrova presented the company's updated certification program at a partner conference. Currently, Basalt SPO offers certification in three categories: administrator, product specialist, and virtualization technology specialist. An administrator certificate, as Maria Petrova noted, can be obtained at a university or college by completing the appropriate course. The certification exam for a virtualization technology specialist, according to her, is the most difficult, and the test procedure is two-tiered. At the conference, Maria Petrova personally presented certificates to the first two employees of Basalt SPO partners (pictured). According to her, the certification of product specialists will be finalized during 2024.
