I recently had the pleasure of interviewing many of my buy Phone Number List colleagues, including Krishna, and Tiger Tales was born. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing stories of how our employees and customers have used Vtiger to get things done faster. Just like you can peek into others’ homes and lives during all those video calls, we want you to get to know the people behind our product a little better.

I am pleased to introduce Krishna, who shared his thoughts and experiences on how Vtiger has helped him stay connected and collaborate with his colleagues and teams while working remotely. Below is Krishna’s story:
Meet Krishna - The Man With The "Magic" Touch

Krishna currently resides in Mysore (home to the beautiful Mysore Palace ), a small city in Karnataka, India, about 85 miles from Bangalore (where Vtiger is headquartered). Krishna joined Vtiger six years ago and wears many hats within the company. He is the co-owner of our Help Desk product and Vtiger Calculus from a PLM perspective. He is also heavily involved in pre-sales work with larger customers and occasionally manages implementations as well. On top of all this, Krishna leads Gartner analyst engagement, for which we were recently recognized as a Niche Player in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for the second year in a row .
Krishna's Experience Transitioning to WFH Full Time
Krishna usually split his time between working in the office in Bangalore and working remotely from his home in Mysore. Krishna elaborates on his experience over the last six months, saying, “I worked from home 2 days a week for a few years, but doing it full-time was initially challenging. I REALLY miss working with my team, our rituals of making gourmet coffee on the terrace in our new office, and doing serious work in our boardroom with a big screen. As a team, we made it a point to go for team lunches to celebrate achievements and also get to know each other better. Despite this, we have all gotten used to working from home.” Luckily, the tools that Vtiger CRM provides have allowed Krishna to work just like he did when he was working in the office with his colleagues.
Using Vtiger for Cross-Team Collaboration
Our content writer recently published a blog about our recognition in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant. Krishna explains, “This involved collaborating with a lot of people, including graphic designers, webmasters, and even our CEO. I was responsible for ensuring that the content was up to par. Just like when we sold it, we created a Task and Subtasks and assigned owners under the parent project. Everything related to the blog was collected in one place with owners and due dates. When subtasks were completed, assigned owners would mark them as complete so that everyone involved in the task was informed of the overall progress. When something needed to be approved, we would send it to the appropriate person(s) for review. When questions arose, we could collaborate using the comments section of the task. All of this was made possible by our internal tool powered by Vtiger.”
The ability to collaborate on task and subtask posts allowed Krishna and his team to quickly complete all the necessary work, and they were able to publish the blog in less than two days.
Breaking down the tools
To give you a deeper understanding of the features and tools that Krishna and his team used to collaborate on this project, I've broken them down one by one below:
Projects
projects
Projects are planned work that includes specific goals, start dates, target end dates, budgets, progress, etc. You can also track identified and resolved issues by linking projects to the To-Do module. You can also collaborate with team members using Tasks, Subtasks, and Comments.

Tasks and subtasks
Tasks and subtasks
Looking at a project as a whole, a project task is a piece of work assigned to a person or group that must be completed within a specified period of time.
Each task and subtask can have a priority, status, due date, owner, and can include "subscribers" who need to know about the task's progress. You can also update your calendar with tasks that need to be completed no later than a certain date and time.
