According to him, by 2025, Russian manufacturers are obliged to replace all foreign suppliers of base stations. "We have a law prohibiting the installation of any foreign base stations from 2025. If we are talking about production volumes, then from the point of view of the quality of the stations, this is still a pig in a poke. Whether this will be a range of two or three base stations or there will be more is unimportant. The main thing is that they will be produced in sufficient quantities for Russian operators," Eldar Murtazin believes.
According to him, 12 billion rubles will not be enough to create a completely Russian element base. "Of course, it is impossible to replace the entire element base with this money. And no one sets such a task. The element base can also be foreign. The most important thing that needs to be replaced here is the things that we can produce ourselves - antennas and software," Eldar Murtazin added.
